Bet wetting & Asthma?

Is there a connection between the 2??

Does anyone have a child with asthma who bed wets?

If so is the bedwetting worse when their asthma is worse?

I've often wondered this, but its never been answered.
I have an 8 year old who is fine during the day, but cannot manage night time without being wet.
Some nights he'll even soak through the dry night pyjama pants that he wears!!!
He is worse when his asthma is bad.
We've had tablets and sprays from GP, they didn't work, just gave him really bad headaches.
We've had 2 different bed wetting alarms, one kept on going off and the other kept falling off.
I was told more recently that he could have hormonal problems, whatever that is supposed to mean!!!!
