blocked ear, should I go back to the doctors?

I've had a sinus infection which I am on antibiotics for. They finish tomorrow, and although my sinuses are definitely getting better my ear is still completely blocked and ringing (no pain though).
Should I go back to the doctors or is this something that I just have to wait out and it will clear on its own?

It can take up to 6 weeks for the ear to clear. If you are feeling better I would just wait and it will get better.

I had ear trouble for weeks after an infection a while back.

I went to the doc and he said that my eardrum was basically inside out because of the pressure when it was infected and I needed to "pop" my ears to get it back round the right way.

He told me to drink some water whilst holding my nose. It took a few attempts, but he was right, it popped and everything was fine after.

This may or may not be what has happened to you!
