Help, since coming off the pill over a year ago I look like a spotty teenager. I am 5 weeks preggers and looked the same in last pregnancy and throughout TTC.

Does anybody have any advice? Want to feel bloomy this time around without the bloomers....

No advice, cos I am the same!! Actually, not bad at all this time (I will be 8weeks tomorrow) but during the first PG my face looked like a tomato and was SO red. I just tried to keep it clean and not overdo it with products.

I did go to a homeopath but it cost a fortune and I was too impatient to wait and see if the stuff worked.

Sorry......and CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!

Poor you - i really feel sorry for you and can relate to what you are going through. I am 16 weeks PG and have been suffering with Rosacea (which i get anyway) which is all tied up with hormones and causes red face and pustules etc and is very different to normal acne. I am not saying you have this (referring to Collision particularly as you mention redness) but worth maybe checking with Dr - you do need to be properly diagnosed with this. I have been using topical antibiotics and it is going down now. During my last pregnancy my skin actually got better so hoping for some turnaround.

Hope yours improves and if not go to your Dr as there may be something you can put on it.

Good luck!

I got this when pg with DS2. After he was born it calmed down a bit then when I got my period back the spots came back a few days before it was due and took about a week to two weeks to calm down again. DS2 is 22 months now and I have been spot free the last couple of months. Definately hormonal.
