Why do I get a rash whenever I have a virus?

Makes no difference what virus: cold, flu, unidentifiable headachey misery, I always break out in the same rash. No-one else in the family has this, even when we generously pass the virus around.

Thanks for replying. I’ve kind of accepted it but each time it worries me and I look online for reassurance. I came across this thread by chance and it’s good to know others experience the same. Mines the same, especially on my torso - it all joins together and is bright red - like it’s burnt. This time it’s spreading to my back too which it doesn’t always do🤷🏻‍♀️
