My ds looks really sore where his penis joins his body. There's a bit of a skin fold there and in the past when I mentioned it to my HV she said to put metanium on it, which seemed to do the trick. I noticed it was looking red at bathtime last night, so put on the cream, it still looks sore now, despite cleaning off the residual metanium and adding fresh (which seemed to be a bit uncomfortable for ds). It's worse this time than I've seen it before, I think it might be that some wee gets trapped there and starts to burn a bit. He is teething, so could that be why?. Could it be thrush? I've got some daktarin, which I'm considering putting on. Just a bit worried, because I've got to go away for a few days for work, leaving before he wakes tomorrow, and my dh isn't great at this sort of thing. TIA
