Could someone please take a look at this for me. Any dermatology experts?

This is on my upper thigh. Always looked like a faint scar for years but noticed its looking more raised. Should I go to GP? Does it look like a keratosis or more sinister?

Yes do go to the GP! The vital thing with new or changing skin lesions is to take early action - it is probably not serious but if it is early removal is vital. My father in law was made to wait four months to have a flaky squamous cell carcinoma removed and it was too late. It was like a horror film as it devoured him and cancerous tissue burgeoned then died through lack of a blood supply. Not painful like liver cancer though but goes on for ages as they pump you full of antibiotics so you are not carried off by septicaemia. And the smell...

Probably nothing but ever so quick to get it checked out. Always get anything new or developing looked at asap.

Thanks FabUlous I wasn't sure if I was being over sensitive as I have health anxieties which are now on high alert!
