DD has one red large nipple.....

woke up this morning and her left nipple is very red and the whole nipple is larger than normal, not swollen as such and no hard lumps, just seems to have 'spread' a bit.She doesn seem to be in any pain, i have inspected it closly, and theres no spots or cuts around it. Shes ony 8 mths old, i did hear somewhere that this can happen with hormones in her body, but i thought that was when they were a lot younger. Anyone got any advice?

I have not come across this at this age, so I would keep an eye on it and take to GP on monday if still the same / worse.

thanks 3ittlefrogs, i was thinking te same, do you think i should put some cream on it, aqueous or the like, or just leave well alone. I dont want to aggrevate it
