I have found a few threads on here about gum disease, but most end before the person has finished treatment. I am curious if anyone is mid-treatment and could tell me how things are going for them?
My DH has been recently been diagnosed with advanced gum disease and has significant bone loss in places so is likely to lose some teeth :-( . He is seeing a periodontist next week, but it has all come as a shock because he has had regular 6 monthly check ups with his NHS dentist and has always been good with brushing and flossing (he thought!).
