after finding dh carer asleep when i got back from the school run, i just fell apart. i sent her home then lost it. the nurse hadnt turned up till late for bloods so waitied in all day, finding the carer asleep was the last straw.

i just dont know how much longer we can survive as a family like this.

dh wont consider a house move so i am trying desperatly to sort things out just so we can move about the home. i am constantly waiting for a nurse/carer/co-ag team to arrive. i cant leave dh alone even to run down to post box which is a 3min walk away. I am just fed up of it all.

misdee, I don't really know you but have read some of your other posts, and just wanted to say sorry you have it so tough, which admittedly is pretty useless to you and your circumstances, but sympathy anyway.

misdee · 15/09/2006 14:11

we have the nice carer today. the one that actually allows me to put my feet up and have a cup of tea, while she entertains the children.

CheesyFeet · 15/09/2006 15:06

ComeOVeneer · 15/09/2006 15:08

I agree, report her (especially if this isn't the first time it has happened). Sorry this are lousy atm Misdee, as ever I regularly say a little prayer that you will get some good news soon.

misdee. I am really sorry. Sorry because there is nothing I can do and sorry because you are in this situation. Your poor family.

Why won't Peter consider a house move?
What do you want to do? What do you think would make it more bearable?
I know Peter is in a desperate situation but maybe he needs soemone to tell him that you need a break too?

mears · 15/09/2006 15:14

Definitely put in a complaint about her. You should have people you can trust around you. She is in breach of her contract.
