Went to family planning clinic today. Problems with my copper coil and may have to have it removed. I don't want the hormones, they send me crazy, but nurse mentioned a new hormone coil called skyla which has a lower hormone dose but only lasts for 3 years.
Have been looking online at it but not that much on it, and not much personal experiences about people on it, so I wondered if anyone here knows about it or has experiences with it? One sire I found said studies hadn't seen a difference between side effects of the mirena and skyla, and the patent of the mirena is nearly up and this is one of the main reasons why the company behind the mirena are bringing out this new one.
