Mooncup users - What do you like BEST about it?

Yes - there are lots of reasons why they are fab, but I just wondered which SINGLE reason makes you like it best?

I realised today that for me it is the fact that there's no longer that 'game' of having to guess whether it's worth changing a tampon or not, e.g. "I changed it an hour ago, but am now going out for 3 hours, so should I change it again, or wait and risk leakage...?" And the irritation of taking a tampon out only to find it could've lasted another few hours... OK, maybe I'm just mean, but I hated that sort of waste...

With a mooncup, there's none of that.

Legacy I have to agree with you. I love the fact that there is no waste. Nothing in my bin.

I can have sex that doesn't hurt.

(Had lots of problems with tampons drying me out too much and breaking me)

expatinscotland · 14/09/2006 16:20

No leaks.

Flamesparrow · 14/09/2006 16:21

Not with it in... that would hurt

Legacy · 14/09/2006 16:24

(I didn't like to ask, Flamesparrow... )

still bemused (but v impressed) by the very concept! Great that so many people seem to use them tho - all those tampons you're not chucking away every mth!
Shall try to be brave and join you all soon

not to find stray tampons EVERYWHERE in my life - dh was always amazed where they use to turn up

CheesyFeet · 14/09/2006 16:58

My fanjo doesn't dry out.

Much comfier.

(I was trying to come up with a more worthy reason ie not adding to landfill but the truth is far more selfish)
