our dd2 came out of GOSH last night after a couple of days of tests. She had a to have a heavy sedation yesterday morning, but they said she was okay to go home. Today she's still really really drowsy (she's trying to play but her eyes are shut) and she's not really drinking much. She's also got a slightly high temp that won't come down with Calpol. She's 19 months...does anyone know if this is normal and whether it's just going to take a couple of days?

Hi Catesmum.

Sounds like you've had a bit of a time of it lately. Hope it's nothing too serious. I don't really know what to suggest to make it any easier for you. Maybe try phoning the hospital and asking the opinion of a dr or nurse who was there treating your dd. They will be your best bet.

Hope she is feeling better soon, and I hope you get the advice you need soon.

did they not give you a contact number to ring within the first 24 hours ? If they did - give them a ring and ask - better to be safe than sorry.
