70/50? How are you awake? I was 60/40 after childbirth and bleeding out and was nearly dead!

I'm going for.... thyroid. Just a random guess though.

StrumpersPlunkett · 21/07/2014 21:37

the doctor was v suprised she did it 3 times with her machine and got a machine from another doctor to double check the machine wasn't playing up

Hypothyroidism.

Cocolepew · 21/07/2014 22:12

Thyroid.

StrumpersPlunkett · 21/07/2014 22:15

ok so that is what we are testing for tomorrow,

I hope it is that because I googled low blood pressure and managed
to diagnose all sorts of wierd random illnesses

my moneys on thyroid too. Although addissons disease would be a very rare (and very unlikely) runner up.

BoulevardOfBrokenSleep · 21/07/2014 22:22

Would agree with probable thyroid, maybe vitamin deficiency and some of your symptoms are unrelated - but presumably they are doing a pretty broad panel of blood tests?

StrumpersPlunkett · 21/07/2014 22:38

I think so, The doctor was ace.
I walked in and gave her my list of ailments (forgot to add to the list above that I am convinced I have started to get arthritis - my mum has it)

She didn't poo poo anything and when she did my blood pressure that was when she suggested a blood test

Dehydration?

Aheadofyourtime · 22/07/2014 23:53

Presumably your blood pressure was subsequently found to be better ?!

DoristheCamel · 24/07/2014 12:25

I have alot of those symptoms and have had for the past year. I also am wondering about arthritis and I seem to seize up some times.

After 9 months of going back and forth to my GP I have just been diagnosed with severe anaemia.

Hope you find the answer soon and can start getting better.

lucjam · 24/07/2014 22:14

70/50 is v low as someone else said sort of blood pressure you expect after a bad birth bleed, I was 40/20 and in intensive care. I too would have said thyriod by your symptoms, especially dry skin, I call the skin on my legs dragon skin!!
