11 month old boy...small lump under skin

Hi, Have noticed in past few weeks that DS has a small lump under his skin above where is stomach is, but below rib cage. It is not there every day, but some days you can see it and feel it. Its like a bean just under his skin. Like I said, its not there everyday, and he is not affected by it, as in he is in great form etc.
Anyone else's babies have this or anyone had experience of it? I was going to bring him to GP last week but the day I was making appointment there was not a sight of it!

TIA!

Is it in the centre rather than to the left or right? My youngest son has a small pea size lump right in the centre of his chest. His is a normal bit of anatomy according to gp, my older two don't have it though. He's had it since about your sons age and is fighting fit 3 years later. Get it checked by gp anyway for peace of mind.

My dd has a pea size lump in the centre in the place where you describe, op.
The gp has told me its nothing to worry about -but I'm still curious what it actually is.

Oh and sometimes it's more evident than other times, too!
