I'm hoping I'm paranoid but leaky boobs and phantom kicks....

As per title, my boobs can still produce milk. I stopped bf ing 3 years ago. I am only talking drops, not gallons, but is this normal?
Secondly, I get what initially feel like pregnancy kicks, but if I am in the wrong position can turn into what I can only describe as agonizing painful knots inside my lower abdomen. If I stretch back they go away eventually, if not, they continue to tighten until it is too painful to even breath.
So clearly I need to see a Dr, but my Dr is very good when you can give suggestions and quite dismissive otherwise, hence this thread.
Am I being silly or should I be worried.
In case it is relevant, I have had two cs's and still have a numb tummy from no. 1 6 years later. Also very fat. [Blush]

Assuming you're not pregnant, is there any way you could see a different GP if you're not happy with your current one?

JavaSparrow · 15/07/2014 08:39

Oops sorry definitely not pregnant. This has been ongoing for months, possibly a year, but whereas the kicks and twists used to be occasional, they're becoming more frequent and more painful.

I actually quite like my gp, they're just not great with vague symptoms. I should give them a try re: this before dismissing them. I just wondered if these symptoms pointed to anything in particular iyswim.

Hi Java I had the twisting feeling and also painful twanging, turns out it was a knot of muscle that had healed funnily after my section. I did a course of pilates that sorted it out. As for the leaky boobs, I think that can happen, they might be able to give you something to stop it?

AppleSnapple · 15/07/2014 11:55

Leaky boobs- can be normal to get a drop or 2 out on squeezing, but if actually leaking without provocation (as it were!) then worthwhile having prolactin level checked (it's a routine blood test)

Re the 'kicks'- are you constipated? Sounds like cramping esp if there is a positional element... Just a thought!

Pobblewhohasnotoes · 15/07/2014 13:48

Get your prolactin levels checked if you're leaking. It can be a sign of pituitary problems (had this myself), if you aren't bf.

Thank you re: prolactin levels, that exactly the kind of thing I need for my gp.

Oh I like Pilate's, but it has a while...good reason to get back into it.
