national shortage of WC vaccine?

currently 31 weeks pregnant, have been advised by midwife to have whooping cough vaccine, preferably before 32 weeks. When I called the Dr the receptionist told me there was a national shortage of the vaccine and they weren't sure when they would next have any. She was pretty unhelpful when I asked if there was anywhere else I could get one. However, none of the other pregnant women I know have been told the same, and googling has not brought up any results. Nor has searching MN. Anyone else been told similar? Thoughts on how I could track one down??

I've not heard that and mine is booked for next Monday.

Thanks, confirms suspicions I might just be being fobbed off...
