Constant pins and needles /tingling feet, legs, hands, face

Basically as above, I have a near constant feeling of pins and needles in feet and legs mainly, more mildly in hands and face. Has been going on for about 7 months now. I have hypothyroidism treated with levothyroxine and have struggled to feel well on it, is there something I'm missing?

I feel reasonably ago now, more energy than in a while but still trouble with 'brain fog'. I also have coeliac so on a gluten free diet which I follow and on HRT as had slightly early menopause about 4 years ago.

Any ideas?

Have you had your B12 levels checked?

RubySparks · 13/07/2014 23:42

Yes I think that is done as part of annual coeliac check up, unfortunately just had to re-arrange this years one and new appointment not until December. Think it was ok, in range, last time though not top of range.

How carefully are your thyroid hormone levels being monitored?. Have you had recent blood tests to check these?. Who is actually monitoring your thyroid levels at present?. I ask this as some GPs are not up to speed at all on such issues.

Good question, I take 75 mg, after being on 50 then 100 which seemed to make me anxious so dropped to 75. Not sure when last blood test was but within 6 months and TSH would have been under 1 I think. Would I be taking too little to have these symptoms?
