A friend of mine Ds(aged 2) has been diagnosed with this does anyone know anything about it as i'v never heard of it?

He has just had a benign tumour removed from his kidney and is on steroids to help with his balance.

Just wondering how serious it is?

Is this the same as "lazy eye". If so I have it, and had surgery to correct it when I was 3. I highly recommend the surgical approach, the earlier performed the more successful it is. Can't remember the medical term for the condition.

Is it nystagmus? Unfortunately I don't know anything else. Someone else might though.

I think it is a neurological disorder?

Sorry, I've no idea then. Just googled and it is not the same as lazy eye. So strike all of my advice off the record, please.

my dd has nystagmus which is essentially a vibrating eye
It is a fault through the neuro optic nerve whiach cannot be fixed surgically
There are problems with depth perception/balance in the main.
Have they said his problems are permanent or transitory?
