Skin problems

Anyone else have really greasy skin (mmmm!)? I'm mid 30s but have always had it really, but have noticed it a bit worse. I have to wash my face twice a day at the moment.

Also, it can sometimes feel a bit tight after I wash it. Do you think my skin is overcompensating for the dryness by producing more oil?

I use products for greasy skin, but maybe too harsh?

Over washing your skin, or using overly astringent products on it can actually cause your skin to produce MORE sebum (oil) which makes your skin more greasy and creates a vicious cycle.

I did wonder that. Sometimes I want to use a moisturiser in themorning because my skin feels so dry but can't because it would make me look slippy!

Will have a look at products for normal/greasy instead of dripping grease.

I usually put a light moisturiser on every other day, massage it in and then dab any excess that hasn't been absorbed within 30 secs of so off with a tissue.
