I have been suffering with almost daily headaches for the past year and a half, have been backwards and forwards to the doctor and he insists it is tension but the last time I saw him I insisted he refer me to a specialist and he has done and I now have an apointment for the neurologist for October.
Anyway about a week ago I suffered from a bad headache, it throbbed in one side of my head and came on really strong whenever I stood up or moved, the only time it 'settled' was when I laid down. I went to bed early that night assuming it would get rid of it (as it usually does) but I woke up with the same headache the next morning, suffered again throughout the day with the same pains and it only started to fade off the day after so with it lasting almost 3 days I assumed Migraine...
Anyway the day after the headache went away I suffered all day with a strange kind of vision, no headache but a bit of dizzyness, as if I couldn't focus properly on anything, this went away by the evening - could this be connected with the earlier headache? does it sound like migraine? Could it be a problem with my eyes? a need for glasses?
I was then fine for a couple of days but now the headache is coming on today, I have started to feel the warning signs of the throbbing pain upon standing...
I have been taking Ibuprofen as the doctor prescribed. I have no sickness or any other symptoms.
Any help or advice welcome.
