My dd has been miserable and had a temperature on and off for a few days. Today she has a feint red pin prick rash on her trunk and legs.. My ds has the pox 5 years ago and i've forgotten how it starts? are they blistery spots straight away?? Help pls

Normally one or two blistery looking spots to begin with, then the next day a whole ton of them. I would phone NHS direct or go to walk in centre straight away with a temperature and a rash like you describe Allie, just to be on the safe side

thanks franny. She's not unwell in herself and the temp comes and goes and has been all week. rash has appeared today, don't think it's anything too bad. we don't have "walk in" centres in the sticks

she's more of a vicious stroppy beast, rather than laying around unwell
