Have a severely infected toe from an ingrowing nail. Am on a big dose of antibiotics and have been warned what to lookout for if it gets worse but forgot to ask if I should cover it or leave it to "air". Does it matter?
If its relevant it's fairly swollen and I think most comfortable just being left alone/in open toed sandled BUT I have a toddler, he (accidentally) stomped on it earlier so maybe a plaster would offer some protection. Will either way affect healing?
Sorry for the frivolous post, am aware I'm luck that this is my biggest problem right now...
