DS is getting a cochlear implant

We found out tonight that DS's funding for a cochlear implant has been approved. He's been deaf since birth and lately the hearing aids haven't been quite sufficient. He's nearly 7.

Thank you! We told Dominic today about the operation and he wasn't too keen. Then he realised he would eventually be able to talk on the phone with his grandad and others and decided he wants a Gold Motorola mobile phone
