DD1 is now 7 months old. My first period came after 4 months (bf for 1st month and have long cycles 50+ days due to pcos so that was fine).
I started taking the mini pill on the 1st day of that 1st period (Micronor which I took for quite a while before pregnancy without a problem)
Since that first period 3 months ago I've had a proper period twice a month so moderate to heavy bleeding for 5 days then approx 8-10 days break then it starts again.... and repeat.....
I've had a smear and 'general swabs' and all are clear so nurse has said it must just be settling down after birth or the pill but surely it shouldn't go on this long?
So utterly fed up of it now.
Does this sound normal after birth or has anyone had a similar experience?
Just to say I'm on the pill as opposed to any other method as we want to TTC again pretty soon.
