Hi,

I am 35 weeks pregnant and have been sitting near a colleague who has been diagnosed with Impetigo. He was in the office for a few days with nasty sores on his face and arms, before going off sick.
Although I don't think I came into direct contact with him (ie touched him), would his condition cause me and problems?

no unless you shared anything personal with him

No Jain. You should be ok. Working in nurseries means I often come down with some infection or other, and I recently had impetigo. It was all in my nose and it was bloody awful! I wouldn't have got it, only I was in close contact with the children, cuddles, sitting on my knee etc, and little ones often arent encouraged to wash their hands...
