do teething granules work?

dd is 11 wks. in the last 2 weeks she has gone from an easy baby to an incredibly fractious one, particularly in the day. she really fusses at the breast and seems to be so uncomfortable. finally decided it must be teeth - she is incredibly dribbly and ds teethed early so it would make sense. have flirted with those granules but not sure whether tthey are working. if they do work do you have to give a dose every two hours as per the packet for them to be effective? could be a pricey business if so!

I don't know about the teething granuals but I use to use Ashton and Parson's when my dd was teething. They are completely herbal which means that if nessesary they can be calpol etc can be taken also. (eg if lo has a high temp etc)

They worked a treat on for my dd.

My ds (now 5 months ) went through this too, I wasn't sure what caused it but it resolved itself. I thought he was teething, but still no sign of teeth so I'm not sure. I thought I had turned my son into a monster, but I think it was just a growth spurt. The upside was once he passed through the bad phase he started sleeping through the night! Hang in there, but if you think there is something wrong trust your instincts and get her checked out.
