I can go mad!!!

Sometimes feel like I could throw my kids out of the front door and hit my DH over the head with something..........................

and I could cry just seeing somebody stub their big toe!!!!!

If you are approaching 40, you might be perimenopausal. Talk to your GP, you can have a blood test to check, and there are things that can help.

I act like a mental case, it runs in the family

I've had a bad few days. Drove home from work with tears pouring down my face last night. Same again coming to work this morning. I cannot have a rational discussion some days as I feel the tears welling up

I get red mist rages and need to stay clear of chainsaws and other offensive weapons.

Also I get very clumsy.

Since having DD (14 months ago) my periods have been all over the place, from 26 - 56 days (still bfeeding) and on bad months the PMT lasts about 3 weeks

Rosylily · 08/09/2006 21:44

I get a horrendous migraine every month in mid cycle and often another one coming up to period, am pregnant at moment...no migraines. can't wait for menopause. My mum had this prob and menopause was a great relief for her.

Totally agree with 3littlefrogs. I had all sorts of hormonal problems (mood swings, heavy bleeding, pms, bladder leakage, bad hair, pimples, etc., etc.) after having my dd. I thought it was from giving birth and breast feeding, but it turned out i was perimenopausal. My doctor put me on the pill (monophasic) and it sorted out all my problems.
