Breast reduction - finding a surgeon

I have been very excited to read all the theads about sucessful breast reductions. I am very keen to go ahead with this. But how do you go about finding a good surgeon? You hear so many scare stories. Any advice?

I used to work for a Plastic Surgeon. Go to your GP and ask to be referred. Your GP will have lists of all the reputable Plastic Surgeons. You can also check with the BAPS (British Association of Plastic Surgeons). Also make sure (if you go private) that the Surgeon you choose also works on the NHS. They do do breast reductions on the NHS btw. If you are anyway near South London or Surrey I could recommend one.

Thanks. That sounds like very sensible advice. I live in Hampshire.
