It looks likely that my 14 yr old son may have Osteochondritis Dissecans in his femoral medial condyle, on both knees actually.
We saw a lovely surgeon today after my son experiencing repeated episodes of pain in his knees, it was so bad on the last one that he wasn't able to weight bare on his legs. He has had to stop doing the sports he was doing, as they exacerbate the symptoms.
He will be going back for an MRI on his knees soon, the surgeon has explained this will help them to see the severity and decide what should happen next [surgery etc]
I wanted to know if anyone else, or anyones child has had this and what your experiences were?
Thanks
