so so sorry for keeping posting, but i just feel terrible today. its hard getting peter up in the mornings, then he goes back to bed soon after lunch. then gets up for dinner till about 8.30pm then back to bed. i just feel like i have another child here. he doesnt do a thing to help, i have just dumped his socks on his bed and asked him to pair them up. he leaves glasses about everywhere, he drank all the juice so the kids had none left for the morning. and tomorrow it all changes with the kids back at school.

i never stop moaning do i. i am so so sorry.

Misdee, apart from the carers do you have any other form of support - ie, someone who can advise you as to what to expect, how to deal with adjusting to the new situation? Hospital social worker?

My best friend was in hospital for a few months and she felt she had became institutionalised within weeks. It maybe something to do with that.

Not sure..old injury that seems to have flared up when carrying the children (obvious that he isn't here a lot lol!)

Hang in there MD.

Misdee, i know it's not the same but I remember when my dad used to come home from sea. It caused all sorts of chaos and took ages for us all to get used to each other again. To add care into the equasion [sp] must make it even harder but you will all find a new way and life will become easier.

he is back in tomorrow. we are dscusiign about whether he should take the charge with him just in case they want to keep him in for any reason. he says no, i say yes take it.

he has only ever been to clinic once and been able to come home the same day.

hmmm.
