I had bad tears and lacerations when I had my babies, which did heal but left quite a bit of scar tissue.

Does anyone else find that during their period the scarred areas hurt and itch and swell up? I find myself leaking wee a bit at that time too, just like the few months after the births - and the SPD I had during pregnancy seems to recur mildly during my period too. Is it normal? It's uncomfortable and horrible - will it always happen, or will it stop?

It sounds a bit like a form of endometriosis - which can be found in scar tissue as well as internally, and which might also account for the pelvic pain during your period. I'd see the GP and get it checked out if I were you.

I cant suggest anything but I have found i am slightly incontinent during my period and leak a little.
