Any eye specialists out there? Do you know anything about the cauterisation of red eye veins?

I have severely blood shot eyes and the damage seems to be permanent. I think this is likely due to a condition I had from birth until my early twenties but which I am now taking medication for. These red veins have really destroyed my self-esteem and I have had some very nasty comments. I would very much like to get rid of them. I've heard some opticians mentioning that it is possible to "cauterise" veins but then I've also read that this can cause scarring. Does anyone know anything else about this? Is it a possibility? Is it safe (I know that obviously all medical and cosmetic procedures have risks)

hi there, I know this isn't the answer you are looking for - but it might be worth looking into: its around change of diet to change the appearance of the sclera if you google for a guy named tyler tolman he has helped numerous people overcome and heal from various diseases, and cleaning up the diet to include eye health is another of his specialities. He also answers emails, so this might give you an option.
I wish you the best of luck with a solution, this sounds like it's had such an impact on your life, it can't have been easy at all.

HI through other research on dry eyes, I've read a lot about others finding the supplement Taurine has cleared the red veining on the white of the eye.
