extra tetanus jab reqd? 4yo stood on wire..

Hi, my 4 yo stood on a piece of old bbq mesh on the beach which went into his foot, like a puncture, but not too deep i don't think, he cried at the time, but then went off playing happily. It looks red today. Am i ok to just put antiseptic cream on it. He is up to date with his tetanus jabs - last one was pre school booster in april 06.thanks

Should be fine, as far as I know they last years?

You might want to look for an antibacterial ointment, i.e. betadine or bactroban.

Tetanus jabs last 10 years iirc.
