my dad has had blood clot when weeing

hi all, i am soo worried...i know it is not a good sign...associated with more enlarged prostate, seems he was bleeding more at the beginning with clots....could it be the bladder. kidney prostate???

Could simply be a really nasty urine infrection like the one my DP had - please make him go to the doctor.

he has gone no infection, no pain,i think i know what i can be but dont want to face it....

It could be alot of things and even the bad things can be treated. the important thing is that he gets it checked out Flowers

I could tell you that there's no point worrying, but you'll worry anyway. I could tell you that there are a bunch of other things it could be, and that's true! But as I assume you're already fixated on prostate cancer, then you ought to look into the statistics on prostate cancer: it's massively common, but also massively treatable.

Good luck with the scan. I hope it turns out to be something trivial, but even in the worst case, I'm confident that you and your dad will be able to deal with it.

Dad had this and turned out to be non cancerous polyp type lesions in his bladder. Hope that your dad get some good news at his scan.

Thank u all so much for your reply...am constantly in tears...can't seem to enjoy anything... Was more thinking of bladder...I will keep praying...
