Sore throat in toddler - antibiotics or anything natural?

My 2yo has had a cough and runny nose for a week or so. Today I looked at the back of his throat and its all red and blistery.

He seems fine - apart from low appetite - no temp.

He eats a lot of fruit, water and milk normally.

Will he need antibiotics or can I give him anything to help him fight it off?

Honey off a spoon is supposed to be a natural soother for throats.

If there is no temp then it's unlikely to be infected, so probably wouldn't respond to abs. Keep an eye on the temp though and if it goes up get him looked at.

Ice lollies will help too.
