PG symptoms without pregnancy?

Hayls · 25/08/2006 15:21

I have very sore boobs and sensitive nipples, havbe put on about 4 pounds that I can't shift and am constantly exhausted and hormonal. I'm sooo sure that i can't be pg but am worried about what else it could be! Seems almost exactly like when I was pg with dd except for constant peeing and going off tea (thankfully!).

Is it possible to have pg symptoms without being pg? I.e could it be related to ovulation etc?
ANy other ideas? Been like this for about a week now and starting to wind me up now...

TIA for any advice

did you do a pregnancy test yet
otherwise, sounds like me sometimes before my period's due. I guess that means hormones. you could check it out at the gp if you feel like that a while longer

There are phantom pregnancies. Don't know all the particulars, though.

I agree, sounds like hormones. Just don't understand why it's suddenly appeared though. I've got a very long cycle, around 32-35 days and I did have unprotected sex on day 13 but I'm positive it wouldn't have resulted in pg! Think I normally ov much later.
Theoretically period would be due on Tuesday but prob wouldn't be until a week or so after that. So no point in doing a pg test I guess.

Thinking though, my last period was very heavy, wonder if that has nything to do with it?

Very confusing!
Please ignore my jabbering if it makes no sense!

do you want to be pg?

I had a while where I had loads of pg symptoms, exhaustion, peeing, increased thirst, waking at night for loo. I even had slightly leaky breasts. I was convinced I was. I couldn't believe I could have so many symptoms and not be.

But I wasn't. And eventually the symptoms went away. Never did get my baby.

Wouldn't mind if I was, altough would be a bit eariler than planned. did consider if it was a bit of overactive imagination in a hopeful, what if sort of thing but definitely not as ideally we will wait until next year.
REassured by what you said MOnkey, although still no nearer to solution!! Will wait for af then maybe see gp if symptoms don't go away
I am truly puzzled!
