Iv got a letter for a long awaited appointment . It's a personal issue .
Iv realised tho my mums friend works in reception or admin at that dept (it's quite big so could be another section) but it's making me quite anxious .
I think she is a busy body and do want her discussing it -as she will know who I'm going to see and or / see my file. I don't know how to handle it

Obviously you realise that her looking at the file, or anyone discussing the content with her, is a sackable offence. But that may not be much comfort if she has disclosed whatever it is you want to remain confidential.

Ideally you would have gone to a different hospital for your appointment. Were you offered a choice?

Hi tripot- the appointment is yet to come and I believe that Is the only place

I'd be very surprised if that were true, but I appreciate you will not want to say online what type of appointment it is. If you have been referred by your GP perhaps have a word with him/her about it, saying you are anxious and could you be referred elsewhere.
