i had an ultrasound on kidneys,ovaries, pancreas 6 month ago, should i feel reassured by this?

u/s 6 month ago to check ovaries,pancreas, liver, kidneys etc was clear apart from my pcos which I knew about.
I am now getting lower left back/kidney pain and awaiting my 2nd lot of urine results, the first had mixed growths so I needed retested.
I am really scared of the outcome, im worried about kidney/bladder cancer, would this have shown on my scan 6 month ago ?

Try not to worry - anxiety will only make it worse.

A couple of years ago I had some pelvic pain. I got very anxious about it. I had u/s which showed nothing, MRI scan, again showed nothing and then surgery. I had some cysts in my Fallopian tube and had the tube removed. Even after that I still had pain. I was so worried and scared I became suicidal. My GP diagnosed depression and prescribed anti depressants. Since then, I've felt much better and I haven't looked back. I couldn't believe that my symptoms were psychological - was my mind really capable of that - not entirely no but mostly, yes. My fear was related to the death of my mother from cancer 9 years ago as it turned out.

I don't know if your pain has a physical cause, the results of the u/s are promising though. Try to relax as much as you can and don't google anything, it certainly won't help.

So hard not to worry. Thanks for advice :)
