I've had implanon in for 5 monthss now and haven't had a period since apart from the first month.
Past couple of days I had a few niggly stomach pains but just ignored them really. Anyway woke up this morning with really heavy bleeding which has a couple of quite large clots it.
First thought was oh its just my periods returning but I'm really concerned because the bleeding is so heavy. Never suffered from heavy periods before in fact quite the opposite so getting a bit worried now

JunkInMyTrunk · 23/08/2006 10:59

What if it is an early miscarriage? What would happen then? Sorry but never been in this position before and feeling quite scared.

It's too bad you don't like your gp I think it really is worth getting checked out, though.

GarfieldsGirl · 23/08/2006 11:30

How about going to the family planning clinic? Then you won't need to see your gp, and they'll probably be able to give you better advice and information than he will. I'd definitely get down there today.

JunkInMyTrunk · 23/08/2006 11:31

just give her a hug and tel her mummy's feeling a bit sick today

JunkInMyTrunk · 23/08/2006 14:27

I've told her that I've just got a poorly tummy so she kissed it better for me.
My mom lives nearby but she's recovering from having her gall bladder out last week and I'm not sure I can cope with telling anybody yet.

Not til 6.30pm. I've sat and dialled his work number twice but just can't quite bring myself to ring........
I know I'm just putting it off, I still won't know how to tell him at 6.30 either.
Just want to crawl into bed and sleep til I forget
