i have spoken to the doctors, they said it might not be related to mmr injection and just give her some calpol and keep a eye on her, give her plenty of fluids plain food etc etc. thanks to all thats replied.

I agree, they always tend to say it might not be the vaccine, but that would be a BIG coincidence. They said that with my youngest, I was not convinced. I hope your DD is soon feeling better.

pandagirl03 · 23/08/2006 11:21

she hasn't got a temp no, but not eaten breakfast and is very whingy, i dont believe them when they say they dont think its related either, bit strange. shes having a little sleep now, just hope rash goes down soon looks horrible. bless her

It seems weird that they would say it is probably not related. I was told ds might get a rash after the mmr and a friend of mine's doughter got an all over body rash after having it. I believe it is like a really mild form of measles. I was told it was nothing to worry about if it did happen though. Ds didn't get it and my friend's daughter was just fine after a few days.

Hope she's better soon panda. I'm sure she'll be fine soon (whether related or not- hard to tell) but if she progresses to chronic diarrhoea bump up this thread and I can give you some people to contact for advice.

You can report it as a potential adverse reaction yourself here It only has to be a potential reaction, so might be worth doing.

pandagirl03 · 23/08/2006 12:24

thanks for that jimjams. she had diarrhoea last night but hasn't had it today.
