sinus op- recovery time

As some of you may know I have had bits trimmed off the inside of my nose to hopefully help me breathe easier and get fewer sinus infections. I had the op on Tuesday and today I feel crap. A very sore throat (I can hardly swallow it's so swollen), what feels like a bit hanging down inside my nostril, constant sneezing, runny nose, achy body. I am seeing my specialist this morning, but thought I'd see if anyone else has felt like this after this operation.

My parents leave for the UK tomorrow. I don't think I can look after a 1 year old at the moment.

The bit hanging down turned out to be a stent that the consultant had forgotten to mention. I got the shock of my life when I sneezed it out. I have been put on ABs and Voltaren for the swollen throat.

Still feel bad, but then I've my parents stay for a month, friends for a week, moved house and had an operation. I'm allowed to feel tired aren't I?
