Have I fucked up my feet?

So am having pain in my arches, not aching but actually painful.

I've been using doctor goggle and it says that I'll fitting shoes could be to blame for setting of this type if pain. In the sales I got a pair of shoes and die to funds and needing some waterproof full foot shoes, I bought some in a size bigger than I am. Now I had intended to add an insole but never got round to it and tbh I wasn't getting blisters so wasn't bothered. But now ouch. Any advice?

Tia

You might have plantar fasciitis. It's painful, especially in the morning

I had something similar to this. it was painful in the arch except when I walked on my tiptoes. I was told it was because I was wearing shoes that weren't actually strapped to my feet (I wore lots of dolly shoes) and my toes were constantly having to grip to keep them on my feet and pulled a muscle. I lived in a good pair of supporting trainers for two weeks and it was fine. Smile not sure if you have something like that, I'm told it's quite common. hope that helps! Smile

I stopped wearing shoes in the house and went barefoot or just with socks. My feet kind of strengthened up and it's loads better now.

Thanks all, yes very bad in the morning when I get out of bed. Has felt a bit better rolling a can on the floor with my foot but not really something like doing at work Grin
