Another dodgy looking mole on my back, skin cancer?

I know I'm going to be told to go to the gp and I will.

I had a huge mole removed 2 years ago from my back, tests were clear for skin cancer but had some precancerous cells ( so had to take quite a huge chunk out of my back ), when I went back to gp to check the wound and test results I was told that I would probably get skin cancer one day as I have a lot of moles and pale skin, was told to make sure I cover up in the sun etc..etc..

Like a lot of people I used to lie in the sun as a teen, covered in baby oil for hours at a time and rarely wore sun screen.

Anyway I have a couple moles on my back that have started to itch as well as one on my neck, the one on the top of my back is the most irritating ,because it's on the top of my back I can't really have a look but it feels crusty and risen and I'm sure it has changed in size ( as it never used to bother me ). Does this sound like I have another dodgy mole which needs removing, could it be skin cancer?

I will get it checked out as soon as I can but with it being the school holidays it is tricky with the dd's.

Go to the doctor and if they think it's dodgy will refer you. My DH had to have some removed and he has received excellent care.

My black melanoma was shiny black, raised big and hard. Did not bleed or itch.
It was caught just in time.
Years later GP and I were suspicious of one on my back as was definitely black and hard but small.
Specialist said it was a blackhead and squeezed it out or me Blush.
Have it checked out just in case.
Good luck

Thank you, I might try and get dh to take a phot of it for me so I can see it ( can't get a good view in the mirror ), will get gp to check it ASAP with there little mole thingy they use.
