...... any ideas? I haven't had a period for over 5 years, am definitely not pregnant. Went to the loo and noticed blood on the loo roll but none in the pee. Is it something and nothing of should I get medical advice?

It depends why you haven't had a period for five years? if it's because you have been through the menopause it needs checking out, my dm had this and had to have a hysteroscopy to check all was ok - it was! Go to your GP :)

Thanks, Belle Menopause (very young!) - what does a hysteroscopy investigate?

I had a hysteroscopy a few years ago. My womb was filled with fluid, had a camera up there and biopsys taken. It was quite painful but bearable, just make sure you take ibuprofen and paracetemol.

Could it be anal blood ? ( out tmi ing you_) Smile

Posted too soon!

Is it red blood like when you cut your finger or is it dark?

If it looks like coffee grounds yo to a walk in centre tonight.

its just to look in your uterus and take biopsys if there is anything funny looking, could be all sorts of things but get it checked out for peace of mind Brew
