I have been prescribed thyroxine for hashimoto thyroiditis and am taking ferrous sulfate for chronic low iron, which is still under investigation.

The GP told me to carry on with the iron tablets but I've read a lot of contradictory stuff about taking both.

Will I be okay to do this? And if so are the tablets best spaced out by a few hours.

Hashtag glad to have come across your post. I'm on day 4 today of 50g Levothyroxine, and I'm taking iron supplements. I feel very tired today too! A good friend is a pharmacist and to confirm the advise re take Levo in the AM and iron PM is spot on
