Anyone do Pilates?

it's good, I liked it, good for the stomach and posture

but I get a bit bored without music. I'm an Eye of the Tiger girl meself

Ia hve been to a few classes, it is hard work, not ina hot sweaty way but as in stretching parts of your body that are not used to being stretched. It has improved my posture . I think a pilates class is very dependent upon your instructor.

I want to do something to tone my tummy, and help me relax. I did a bit of yoga many moons ago and really enjoyed that, and had heard that it was along similar lines.

I've been goimng weekly since Easter and love it.
Its very relaxing abd totaly different to other exercise but you really feel it working too. My tummy is flatter and I hve defined thigh muscles for the 1st time since I was about 16.

Ther only thing with doing yoga and pilates is that the breathing techniques are the opposite of each other - I get confused too easily!

i do it at home, i got the winsor pilates dvds from the shopping channels and i love it. after doing it 5 times a week dh could notice a difference in my figure in only a week. it can be hard on your abs though but when you see results quickly it spurs you on to carry on

It's ok I can't remember how I breathed when I did yoga!
