Hi, as the title says I have been totally exhausted for pretty much all of the last 18 months. My DD was born just over 2 years ago and when she was 6 months old I was diagnosed with an over active thyroid. No medication required as the consultant said it would rectify itself, which it did after a few months.
Now I still have not put any of the weight back on, I suffer from severe constipation and total exhaustion. Even after 8 hours sleep I wake up totally exhausted, eyes burning, body feeling weak and heavy and just no get up and go. I've been backwards and forwards to the doctors and I've had blood tests. Latest showed a low hormone ( not sure which one ) but was told that was probably due to my cycle. I'm on iron tablets and have been for the last 2 years.
I just don't know what to do now? Everytime I go back to the doctors they just fob me off. What could it be?
