I think, with her history, I'd be peed off too. Took my dd2 to docs yesterday as we've had 5 nights of bad coughing and previous 2 days of dodgy temps etc, gave us a/bs straight away. It's only her 2nd time ever of a/bs so I'm glad. She slept like a log last night and is a different girl this morning. Do you have to see the same doctor? Hope it goes the way you want it too.

I would be annoyed. Though I have to say my GP, I think, gives antibiotics too readily. Dd has been prescribed them 5 times now and she's only 17 months. I've only actually given them to her twice as I did a lot of research each time she was ill and tried to find other ways of making her better. But in your dd's case it sounds vital she gets a course. My dd has really needed them when her chest's been infected, I can't believe he sent you away without them.
