After 9 months, 2 operations, 6 months chemotherapy and 4 weeks radiotherapy I finally finish treatment today. Only 10 years of tamoxifen to go SmileGrin

WELL DONE YOU!

I'm on day 4 of 25sessions of radiotherapy! Always nice to hear that people do get to the end of this journey! Wishing you all the best as you get back to your 'normal' life xx

Well done ! I was in the exact same position 3 weeks ago today though my treatment all took 10 months. It is weird going from lots of appointments to nothing, don't be surprised if you get a bit down, it takes a while to adjust

Thanks. It's been a long journey but my amazing husband and 4 DC (14,12, 8 & 6) have really helped me through, I've had to carry on and be strong for them which in turn has helped me. Good luck to you

Thanks malt, in some ways I'm
Looking forward to getting back to 'normal' and in other ways I know it will be strange. Got a mad few weeks coming up and we are taking kids away for a week so something to focus on

How's your skin holding up after rads ? Mine was sore and peeling and was worse a week after I finished. Once it started to heal though it got better quickly

It's a bit sore the last few days but settling a bit. Using hydrocortisone and slapping on the E45 and trying not to wear a bra in the house - not a good lookConfused. Thanks for the warning.

Well done - that's a great achievement. Be kind to yourself for the next few weeks as it takes time to fully receover - then enjoy getting your normal life back Smile.
