Grommit
I have a BF who had this done, it took about 6 sessions and she said it made her teeth really sensitive - even to breathing in through her teeth hurt - for about 2 days after.
I have to say that her teeth weren't that bad to start with and TBH I couldn't see a lot of difference. However she felt really happy with it - her teeth had been badly yellowed from tthe medicine she had taken as a child for athsma (sp) - well that was her story anyhow

Forgot - I mean she thought they looked badly yellowed - they looked white to me!

yes, never again!

You have to wear dental shields overnight (for several nights if need be) on both upper and lower teeth. The bleaching gel goes inside them. It made my teeth exquisitely sensitive for several days, especially around the site of mercury fillings. Also a very nasty metallic sensation / taste. It made so little difference to the colour of my teeth that the dentist didn't charge me for it.

Tara Palmer Thompkinson mentioned that her teeth were really sensitive because she had had them bleached too much!! (Some crappy cooking programme I watching the other night!!)

Your teeth really do not look like they need bleaching. And if you don't have it done just think what you could spend £600 on !

SecondhandRose · 16/03/2004 19:36

Just wear sun tan make up!

Yes, never again - the single most painful experience of my life! teeth soooooo sensitive I couldn't look after my child, I just wanted to sleep all day to get away from the pain.

BTW, mine would have cost £180, but I kmow it does vary greatly between dentists (one down the road costs £300).
